INTRODUCING

Ukulele Henry is an entertainer, vocalist and musician who covers a wide range of songs from yesteryear sing-a-longs to the present day, covering the Yorkshire region, experienced in bringing a smile to faces, making a positive contribution to activities and social events.

Enthusiastic and fun with an emphasis on interaction and feeling happy - Henry's ambition is to keep a smile on peoples faces and maybe even a small happy tear in their eye as they recall some musical memories.

CARE HOMES

The past two years have certainly been a challenge to our business. Care homes provided 90% of our bookings due to Henry specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia. When the UK governments legislation came into force a decision had to be made. The decision was not made lightly and it was with great disappointment knowing that it would and did affect our business but we stand by our decision and now more than ever believe it to have been the right decision.

LOYALTY AND DIVERSITY

Due to the loyalty of our many customers and the hard work diversifying the act we have managed to keep the business ticking over. Our main customers are now Sheltered Housing Complexes, Alzheimer & Dementia Clubs, Special Need Groups, Stroke Clubs, Mini Festivals, Pop-Up Concerts and Private Clubs.

THE FUTURE

To all my clients, firstly I would like to thank you personally for your continued support and would just like to tell you of my plans for the future. Our business plan is to hopefully keep the business running until the year 2026. Improving and diversifying the act during this period which will enable the business to bounce back strongly.

We continue to avoid and boycott all Social Media due to their freedom of speech policies and also believe it to be detrimental and negative rather than a positive assistance to our business. We know our audience and will continue to focus on our niche.

Henry is a delight, he is a very smiley person, very polite and always well turned out. Henry plays a fantastic selection of songs for all tastes and certainly make a massive difference to our residents, you only have to look at our residents faces, it says it all.

Fully insured (£2m Personal Liability Insurance) all electrical equipment is PAT tested annually. Ukulele Henry is DBS certificated (previously CRB check) and also has Basic Disclosure Certification from Disclosure Scotland (both available on request) and also donates 10% of profits to charitable causes. All of his bookings include use of his PA System.
